Four Students Die from Charcoal Smoke Poisoning in Daikundi

The Taliban security command in Daikundi has announced that four young boys lost their lives due to poisoning from charcoal smoke in the provincial capital. According to the authorities, the incident occurred last night in a residential room in the second district of Nili city, where the four were living together. The victims were students preparing for the university entrance exam (Kankor) and resided at this location for study purposes. This tragic event highlights the lack of effective awareness about the dangers of using traditional heating devices and the absence of safety supervision in student accommodations, raising concerns that demand responsible attention and action from the relevant Taliban administration bodies.
