Turkey’s Foreign Minister Warns of Possible Israeli Military Action Against Iran

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has warned of signs indicating that Israel is still seeking an opportunity to carry out a military action against Iran, a move he says could further threaten the region’s fragile stability.
Fidan made these remarks on Friday, January 23, during a television interview, expressing hope that Israel will choose a path other than military action. However, he stressed that existing evidence suggests the possibility of Israel resorting to force has not been ruled out.
The Turkish foreign minister added that any military strike could escalate tensions in the Middle East and complicate existing crises. At the same time, he emphasized the role of dialogue and diplomacy as key tools for managing disputes and preventing further instability in the region.
