US Special Envoy Reports Progress in Ukraine Peace Talks Held in Paris

The US President’s Special Envoy has announced encouraging progress in recent peace talks involving countries supporting Ukraine in Paris, focusing on key aspects of the peace process.
Steve Vitkoff, the senior negotiator and US Special Envoy, stated that the meeting centered on bilateral security guarantees and the development of an economic plan for Ukraine’s reconstruction, with advancements made in both areas.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, he wrote that the parties involved reached greater understanding and alignment on important frameworks, including sustainable security guarantees and a plan for Ukraine’s economic welfare and prosperity.
According to Vitkoff, the United States and its partners believe that without long-term security guarantees and substantial economic support, achieving lasting peace in Ukraine is unlikely, and therefore, joint cooperation on this path will continue.
The meeting of countries supporting Ukraine was held on Tuesday in Paris and is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the war and stabilize the country.
