At Least Five Dead in Passenger Bus Crash into Valley in Chakwal, Pakistan

At least five people have been killed and 27 others injured after a passenger bus plunged into a valley in the Chakwal region of Pakistan. Rescue officials reported that several of the injured are in critical condition. According to rescue authorities, the bus was traveling on the Islamabad to Karachi route when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and fall into the valley. Local officials stated that among the injured are seven women. Emergency teams rushed to the scene following the incident and transported the wounded to medical facilities. Chakwal, located in Pakistan’s Punjab province, is known for its mountainous roads and regularly experiences similar traffic accidents each year.
