Israeli Army Claims Killing Two Hezbollah Members in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced in a statement that two members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah were killed in an attack on the Kharbeh Salloum area in southern Lebanon. According to the Israeli army, the attack took place on Tuesday, targeting individuals active in the region.
The statement claims that the targeted individuals were involved in the reconstruction of Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army said that one of the two was an engineer leading the efforts to rebuild these facilities.
The Israeli army justified the attack by alleging that Hezbollah’s activities constitute a violation of existing understandings between Tel Aviv and Lebanon. This claim comes after the attack occurred following the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between the two sides.
Meanwhile, reports and official Lebanese positions indicate that since the ceasefire was declared, the Israeli army has repeatedly violated the agreement through aerial, missile, and ground attacks targeting various parts of Lebanon, especially its southern regions. These attacks have contributed to ongoing instability and the continued Israeli military presence in parts of Lebanese territory.
