Naghlo Solar Power Plant Launched; Breshna Announces Progress on Major Energy Projects

Breshna Company has announced the commissioning of a solar power plant with a capacity of 22.75 megawatts in Naghlo, while simultaneously working on several major energy projects across the country.
Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the CEO of Breshna Company, stated at the plant’s inauguration ceremony that projects generating electricity from coal, wind, and solar energy are currently underway simultaneously. These projects are part of the developmental plans in the energy sector.
According to him, Breshna is also closely collaborating with the Azizi Foundation on 16 different projects aimed at increasing electricity production capacity and meeting the growing demand of citizens in various regions of the country.
However, experts have repeatedly emphasized that the success of such projects requires transparency, professional management, and equitable access to electricity for the public—issues that have consistently raised questions and concerns from citizens and oversight institutions under the current administration of the Taliban.
