Putin: Russia Will Achieve Its Goals

Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, emphasized in a New Year’s greeting message that Russia will continue on its path to achieving its goals by relying on its own capabilities.

Addressing the citizens of Russia, he stated that the people are creating new chapters in Russia’s thousand-year history with their accomplishments, and that the role of the citizens is decisive in advancing the country’s future.

In part of his message, Putin referred to the Russian military forces, stating that the personnel, within the framework of what Moscow calls its “special military operation,” bear the responsibility of fighting for the homeland. He added that millions of Russian citizens express solidarity with them on New Year’s Eve.
