Taliban Administration Announces Hundreds of Urban Projects Underway in Kabul

In the latest official statements, Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister’s office under the Taliban administration, announced that dozens of urban projects are currently being implemented in Kabul during the current solar year.
He made these remarks on Tuesday during the inauguration ceremony of an overpass in front of the administrative building of Kabul’s provincial governor. He said that Kabul municipality has taken on a total of 258 projects across various parts of the city.
According to Hanafi, a development budget of approximately 8.113 billion Afghanis has been allocated for Kabul for the solar year 1404, which is planned to be spent within the framework of these projects.
Taliban officials claim that with the implementation of these programs, Kabul’s landscape will undergo significant changes; however, clear details regarding how these projects will be executed, financial transparency, and their impact on the residents’ lives have not yet been specifically provided.
