Monitoring of Steam Boiler Production Begins Nationwide to Ensure Safety and Standards

The Standards and Quality Department has announced the commencement of supervision and evaluation of steam boiler and aluminum product manufacturing in several domestic production companies. This initiative aims to ensure transparency, protect public health, and promote a culture of standardization.

According to the provided information, the department’s Weights and Measures Directorate, within the framework of its regular and continuous monitoring programs, has comprehensively reviewed at least two manufacturing companies regarding compliance with established standards and adherence to weights and measures principles.

During these inspections, the chemical compositions and materials used in the steam boilers were thoroughly evaluated. Officials stated that failure to meet the necessary standards could pose a serious threat to public health.

The Standards and Quality Department also indicated that factories operating below standard have been shut down in accordance with prevailing regulations, emphasizing that this supervisory process will continue seriously, systematically, and persistently.

Expressing its commitment to implementing accepted principles and standards nationwide, the department assured that providing transparent, justice-based, and standards-driven services remains a top priority. This is particularly crucial in the current situation, which requires independent oversight and increased accountability from responsible authorities within the framework of the Taliban administration.
