Security Forces Foil Large Drug and Medicine Smuggling Attempt in Nimroz

Security officials in Nimroz province have announced that a recent operation successfully prevented the smuggling of 10 cartons of human medicine, over 160 packages of narcotic drugs, and more than one thousand electric pills.

Gul Mohammad Qudrat, spokesperson for the Nimroz police command, stated that these items were discovered and confiscated by security forces during checks on the Zaranj–Delaram highway and also in the western Zanjir areas. According to him, the seized materials have been handed over to the Department of Crime Control for further investigation.

The police spokesperson added that three individuals were arrested during the operation, and investigations related to the case are ongoing. Security officials emphasized that these measures are part of efforts to curb the trafficking of human medicines and narcotics and to ensure the safety of the people residing in Nimroz province.
