Completion of Nine Schools and One Religious Seminary in Paktika’s Border Districts

The Department of Education under the Taliban administration has announced the completion of construction for nine schools and one religious seminary in the border districts along the hypothetical line in Paktika province. These facilities have now been put into operation.

According to the department, a total of 60 million Afghanis was spent on building these structures. The primary goal is to improve access for residents in the border areas to educational services.

Mansour Ahmad Hamza, spokesperson for the Department of Education, stated that each building includes eight classrooms, a safe drinking water system, and several other essential amenities.

However, education experts emphasize that despite the new construction, challenges such as a shortage of qualified teachers, educational constraints, and unequal access to education for girls remain serious issues in many areas under Taliban control.
