Support Program for Over 160 Young People in Balkh Launched to Prepare for University Entrance Exam
A charitable foundation has launched a special educational program to support over 160 young residents of Balkh province in preparing for the university entrance exam, known as the Konkour. Officials from the foundation say this initiative focuses on removing economic barriers and facilitating access to quality education for the youth.
According to the details provided, the young people included in the program will receive financial support from the foundation and will be referred to the Afghan-Turk Educational Center for specialized Konkour training. The system is designed so that educational costs, which are burdensome for many families, do not prevent the youth from continuing their studies.
Khairuddin Mayel, the head of the charitable foundation, stated that the support is not limited to the Konkour preparation stage. He explained that if participants succeed in entering any university after the Konkour, the foundation will provide financial support up to the doctoral level; a measure aimed at creating sustainable educational opportunities for the younger generation.
Meanwhile, officials at the Afghan-Turk Educational Center in Balkh emphasized that by utilizing quality educational tools and academic services, they strive to create an effective learning environment and better preparation for the Konkour exam.
Several young participants in the program have also expressed their satisfaction with the opportunity. Najmuddin, one of the participants, called the support an important step toward his academic future and urged the country’s traders and investors to provide more aid to needy youth.
This program begins at a time when, due to worsening economic problems in recent years, many young people in various provinces have faced serious challenges in accessing quality education and adequate preparation for the Konkour exam.
