Saudi Arabia Awards Highest National Honor to Pakistani Army Chief

Saudi Arabia has bestowed the Order of King Abdulaziz, the kingdom’s highest national honor, on Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan. This gesture is part of the defense relations and strategic cooperation between Riyadh and Islamabad.
According to Pakistani media, the award was presented by Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in an official ceremony held in Riyadh. Following the meeting, the Saudi Defense Minister expressed his appreciation on the social media platform X for Field Marshal Asim Munir’s role in strengthening defense cooperation, strategic coordination, and institutional links between Islamabad and Riyadh.
