Thirteen Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges in Multiple Afghan Provinces

The anti-narcotics police under the Taliban administration have announced the arrest of thirteen individuals on charges of drug trafficking in the provinces of Balkh, Kunduz, Farah, Faryab, and Sar-e-Pul. According to the agency, the detainees were referred to judicial authorities after preliminary investigations.
Based on the provided information, during the operation, quantities of hashish, opium, methamphetamine, and narcotic tablets were seized from the suspects. Additionally, one Kalashnikov rifle was also confiscated.
