Reconstruction of Aircraft Parking at Kandahar Airport Completed and Operational

The reconstruction project of the aircraft parking area at Ahmad Shah Baba International Airport in Kandahar province has been completed and officially inaugurated, with a budget exceeding 100 million Afghanis.
According to released information, this project was implemented by the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation in collaboration with a private company. The main objective is to improve the management of aircraft takeoffs and landings and to provide enhanced facilities for passengers.
Officials state that with the completion of this project, the capacity to regulate flights at this airport has increased, and the service process for airlines and passengers will become more organized. Ahmad Shah Baba Airport is considered one of the key transportation facilities in southern Afghanistan.
