Pro-Russian Hacker Group Claims Breach of Ukrainian Military Data

A hacker group known as KillNet has claimed responsibility for breaching sensitive information related to Ukraine’s Armed Forces, allegedly obtaining a large volume of military data.
According to Russian media reports, a spokesperson for the group told the Novosti news agency that the hacked information includes details of weapons positions in various cities, archives of military headquarters and units, flight positions, personal files of Ukrainian soldiers, and the technical specifications of Ukraine’s military equipment.
The spokesperson stated that this data is set to be handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense, enabling analysis of Ukraine’s production capabilities, logistical support systems, military personnel lists, names of service members, and locations of command headquarters.
KillNet previously claimed to have developed an interactive map called “Matrix,” purportedly aimed at identifying drone manufacturing facilities in Ukraine—an allegation that has not been independently verified.
