Senior Kyrgyz Delegation Arrives in Kabul for Economic Talks

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the arrival of a high-level delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic, led by the country’s Minister of Economy and Trade, in Kabul this afternoon. The visit aims to explore ways to expand bilateral economic cooperation and boost trade and investment between the two nations.
According to a statement from the ministry, the delegation includes deputy ministers from Kyrgyzstan’s Ministries of Trade, Energy, and Transport, as well as several representatives from the private sector, including members of various chambers of commerce.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with officials from the Taliban administration during its stay in Kabul and will participate in the Trade Connectivity Conference and bilateral economic meetings. The itinerary also includes visits to industrial facilities and assessments of various business activities across different regions of Afghanistan.
This visit comes in response to an official invitation from Nooruddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, and follows a previous trip by a Taliban delegation to Kyrgyzstan to attend the country’s economic forum.
