Widespread Condemnation of Deadly Bondi Shooting Targeting Jewish Community

Several Muslim-majority countries have officially condemned a deadly shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, which targeted members of the Jewish community.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement strongly denouncing the terrorist attack in Sydney, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries. The statement emphasized the Kingdom’s firm stance against all forms of violence against civilians.

The United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and the Islamic Republic of Iran also issued separate statements condemning the shooting and expressing condolences to the victims’ families. These reactions align with the official policies of these nations against violent attacks.

New South Wales Police announced that the death toll from the attack has risen to 16 and investigations are ongoing. Despite the international outcry, the Taliban administration had not issued any statement on the incident at the time this report was published—a silence that once again raises questions about its position on global acts of violence.
