Russia Claims Drone Strike on Ukrainian Intelligence Hub in Chernihiv

Russian security sources have reported that the country’s forces targeted an intelligence command center affiliated with Ukraine’s Defense Ministry in the Chernihiv region. According to these sources, the operation was carried out using drones.

Russian media reported that the center was one of the intelligence command sites used by Ukrainian forces and was hit during the attack. No further information has been released regarding the extent of damage or potential casualties.

Meanwhile, a Russian security source described the situation of Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv axis as “unfavorable,” adding that field pressure in this area has been increasing.

In a separate development, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that its air defense systems intercepted and downed 235 Ukrainian drones overnight. The ministry did not provide specific details about the locations of these interceptions.
