Taliban Refugees Minister Meets Islamic School Heads to Discuss Educational Support

Maulvi Abdul Kabir, Acting Minister for Refugees and Repatriation under the Taliban administration, met with the heads of Afghanistan’s Islamic seminaries ‘Darul Uloom Afghan’ and ‘Darul Ahnaf’ on Tuesday, emphasizing continued support for these religious institutions. During the meeting, participants highlighted improvements in teaching quality and the enhancement of school facilities compared to previous years.

Maulvi Abdul Hai, head of Darul Uloom Afghan, claimed during the gathering that due to the efforts of the Taliban administration, thousands of Afghan youth now graduate annually not only from universities but also from religious centers, ready to serve society. Sheikh Abdul Haq, head of Darul Ahnaf, described Taliban support as crucial to the effective functioning of these schools. He added that relevant authorities maintain strong cooperation and professional engagement with educational institutions.

In another part of the meeting, attendees presented their suggestions and opinions on various matters related to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation. Maulvi Abdul Kabir expressed appreciation for the efforts of religious schools and institutions, considering their sacrifices an essential part of Afghanistan’s history. He affirmed that the ‘Islamic system’ supports all educational and training bodies and promised that the concerns raised by the seminary leaders would be addressed.
