Pakistan Successfully Tests Indigenous Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile

Pakistan’s military announced that its navy has successfully test-fired an indigenously developed anti-ship ballistic missile. Launched from a warship, the missile accurately struck its designated targets.
According to the official statement released by the Pakistani military, the missile system is capable of engaging both maritime and land-based targets. It incorporates advanced guidance and navigation technologies and offers high maneuverability to counter a wide range of threats.
The Pakistani army described the test as a demonstration of the country’s indigenous technological capabilities and reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to defending national interests. Military officials said such achievements are part of sustained efforts to enhance Pakistan’s defensive deterrence.
Earlier, in September of this year, the Pakistani military successfully tested a domestically produced cruise missile named ‘Fateh-4’ during a training exercise. The missile, with a range of 750 kilometers, is designed to fly at low altitudes to evade enemy air defense systems.
In light of recent tensions between Pakistan and some neighboring countries, including the Taliban, analysts suggest that Islamabad’s expansion of its military capabilities reflects a strategic move to bolster its deterrent power against external threats.
