Jordan Accuses Israel of Over 500 Gaza Ceasefire Violations

Jordan has accused Israel of violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement more than 500 times, warning that the fragile stability in the region is under serious threat.
Speaking on Sunday, November 25, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said his country continues its efforts to end the war in Gaza and ensure regional stability. He warned that the ongoing conflict is not only causing further destruction in the besieged enclave but also disrupting the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need.
Safadi stressed the urgent need for reconstruction in Gaza and a return to normal life for its residents. He added that available resources are insufficient to meet humanitarian needs, and repeated ceasefire violations pose a major obstacle to aid delivery and the restoration of calm.
Meanwhile, Hazem Qassem, spokesperson for Hamas, described the path to a second phase of the ceasefire as complicated and accused Israel of continuing to breach the agreement.
He stated that while Hamas has fulfilled its commitments, Israel has repeatedly failed to uphold its own — a point that has been communicated to international mediators in the Cairo negotiations.
Tensions in Gaza continue to escalate despite calls from the international community and human rights organizations for an immediate ceasefire and the facilitation of humanitarian aid. However, Israeli actions appear to disregard these appeals.
