Venezuela’s Interior Minister Affirms Bolivarian Revolution Is Alive Amid Political Crisis

Venezuela’s Interior Minister has dismissed claims that the kidnapping of the country’s president signals the end of the Bolivarian Revolution, stating that the revolution remains alive and continues to have popular support.
Diosdado Cabello, Venezuela’s Interior Minister, declared that the nation stands firm against external pressures. According to him, the Bolivarian Revolution, founded on the political ideology of Hugo Chávez, still holds a significant place among the Venezuelan people.
Cabello also called for the release of Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s abducted president, emphasizing that forces loyal to the revolution support Delcy Rodríguez and remain steadfastly loyal to Maduro.
The Interior Minister, a prominent figure within Venezuela’s leftist movements, is reportedly targeted by the United States. According to reports, Washington is concerned about Caracas slipping from its sphere of influence and seeks political changes in Venezuela through engagement with the administration led by Rodríguez.
Meanwhile, Venezuela’s interim president has declared that he will not succumb to U.S. pressure and will continue on the path of resistance.
