Senior Tajik Delegation Arrives in Kabul for Talks with Taliban Officials

A high-ranking government delegation from Tajikistan arrived in Kabul on Saturday, November 14. According to reliable sources, the delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, security agencies, and other key institutions of the country.

As reported by Bakhtar News Agency, the delegation’s primary mission is to explore opportunities for expanding political, economic, and security relations with the Taliban administration.

Informed sources have emphasized that during the visit, detailed discussions are expected between the Tajik delegates and Taliban officials regarding bilateral cooperation, joint projects, and regional engagement.

It has also been reported that one of the key topics of discussion will be the status of the Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe and other technical issues in bilateral relations.

Analysts suggest that the visit may signal a shift in Tajikistan’s previously cautious approach toward the Taliban administration. Tajikistan has in the past taken a more hardline stance against the group.
