Syrian Interim Authority Chief Jolani Visits Saudi Arabia for Investment Conference

Abu Mohammad al-Julani, head of the Syrian Interim Authority, has arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to attend the Future Investment Initiative, an international conference bringing together political leaders, investors, and global innovators.
According to Syrian sources, al-Julani is scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman during his trip. The meeting comes amid shifting regional dynamics and evolving relationships between Middle Eastern countries and internal Syrian actors.
Al-Julani is also set to deliver a speech at the three-day conference, which is being held under the theme “The Compass for Prosperity.” The event aims to explore new opportunities in global markets, emerging technologies, and the future of the global economy.
The conference, taking place from Monday to Thursday in Saudi Arabia, features prominent regional and international figures. Regional approaches to such forums are often seen as reflections of changing political strategies and efforts to recalibrate power roles in the Middle East.
