Taliban Delegation Travels to Turkey for Doha Agreement Talks

A delegation from the Taliban administration has traveled to Turkey following the signing of a new agreement between the Taliban and international parties in Doha. Led by Haji Najib, Deputy Minister of Interior for the Taliban administration, the delegation is in Ankara to discuss unresolved issues related to the recently signed agreement.
According to released information, the talks are expected to focus on the outstanding matters and the implementation of the Doha agreement. However, further details about the content of the discussions or the full composition of the Taliban delegation have not yet been officially disclosed.
At the same time, serious questions have been raised regarding the legitimacy of such negotiations, given that the current governing body in Afghanistan lacks inclusive and lawful nationwide representation. Critics argue that these talks hold no political legitimacy in the absence of genuine representatives of the Afghan people.
While the Taliban administration has not yet been recognized by international institutions as the official government of Afghanistan, it continues its efforts to present a diplomatic image through such meetings. However, the exclusion of women and other societal groups from its decision-making structure remains a source of deep concern.
