Afghanistan Freedom Front Claims Killing Three Taliban Fighters in Kabul

The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed responsibility for a guerrilla-style attack in central Kabul that allegedly killed three Taliban fighters.
In a video statement released on Tuesday, October 20, the anti-Taliban group said the operation was carried out on Monday evening in the Chaman-e-Hozori area, part of Police District 1 of the capital city.
According to the group, the attack targeted a vehicle reportedly belonging to Taliban fighters. The Freedom Front insisted that none of its own members were harmed in the operation.
Chaman-e-Hozori is a busy and strategically significant area in Kabul. An attack in such a location raises serious questions about the Taliban administration’s ability to maintain security in the heart of the country.
The Taliban authorities have not yet responded to the claim. In recent months, anti-Taliban forces have reported conducting several armed operations in major cities, including Kabul.
