Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Kill Civilians, Including Children

Israeli military airstrikes on the Gaza Strip have once again resulted in heavy civilian casualties. Palestinian sources report that Israeli warplanes bombed at least 20 locations across Gaza today, with a particular focus on the eastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern part of the coastal enclave.
According to local reports, the attacks killed more than 15 Palestinians, including children. Palestinian broadcaster Al-Aqsa stated that six children were killed following an airstrike on Al-Sardi School in the second Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
Israel’s Channel 14 also confirmed that the country’s military had launched a “widespread wave” of airstrikes targeting “dozens of objectives” throughout the Gaza Strip.
The attacks come as parts of Gaza continue to be targeted regularly, despite announcements of temporary ceasefires. The scale of violence against civilians has raised serious questions about compliance with international humanitarian law.
While the international community continues to call for an immediate cessation of violence and the protection of civilians, the Taliban administration has yet to issue a clear statement condemning the strikes or expressing support for Palestinian rights—an omission that has drawn criticism from numerous Afghan human rights organizations and activists.
