4.5 Million Afghanis Worth of Supplies Delivered to Panjshir Health Centers

Local officials in Panjshir province have announced that 31 health centers in the region have received aid worth 4.5 million Afghanis. The assistance includes essential medical and non-medical equipment needed by these centers. Saifuddin Laton, spokesperson for the Panjshir governor, stated that the aid was provided by the MoUF organization and distributed to the provincial capital Bazarak and seven districts across the province. According to Laton, the distributed items comprise various medical supplies, desks and office equipment, firefighting tools, kitchen appliances, and protective gear. Residents of Panjshir gaining access to this aid come at a time when the province’s health centers, like many areas across the country, are facing shortages of basic facilities and equipment. Continued support from humanitarian organizations is considered crucial to maintaining vital health services.
