Nighttime Attack on Taliban in Kunduz Leaves 3 Dead and 2 Wounded

A nighttime armed operation carried out last night by members of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan in the Chah-Delkhateran area of the third security district of Kunduz city resulted in three Taliban members killed and two others wounded.
The attack took place around 7:20 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, as a vehicle carrying Taliban forces was passing along Azadi Road. Sources from the National Resistance Front stated that none of their fighters were harmed or suffered casualties during the operation.
The National Resistance Front, an armed opposition group against the Taliban administration, described the attack as part of a series of targeted operations against the Taliban across various parts of the country. According to them, these actions aim to free the people of Afghanistan from the illegal and violent rule of the Taliban.
Kunduz city in northeastern Afghanistan has witnessed persistent insecurity and armed clashes between armed opposition groups and the Taliban over recent years. While the Taliban administration controls most parts of the province, sporadic attacks by resistance forces continue.
