Trump Hails Gaza Agreement as a ‘Great Deal for the Whole World’

Donald Trump, President of the United States, in recent remarks described the latest agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip as a major achievement and a significant step towards peace in the Middle East. He stated that the agreement includes the release of hostages on Monday and called it “a good day” for the region.

Mr. Trump acknowledged that to advance this agreement, he had to speak in a more assertive tone. According to him, a firm approach is necessary in today’s world to achieve greater influence and impact. The U.S. president also confirmed that he will soon travel to the occupied Palestinian territories and Egypt, and global leaders will be present for the official signing of the agreement.

According to Trump, the process of retrieving bodies from under the rubble in Gaza has begun, with an initial expectation of recovering around 28 bodies. He emphasized that the return of war prisoners will be finalized on Monday.

In his remarks, Donald Trump described Hamas leaders as “intelligent” and “negotiable” individuals but noted that if these abilities are used positively, it could pave the way for success; statements that have met with reactions from international observers.

He added that not only Gaza but the entire Middle East is moving towards peace and coexistence. Trump said wealthy countries in the region will assist in rebuilding Gaza and that there is global consensus on the next steps of this plan.

The U.S. president stressed the continuation and durability of the ceasefire in Gaza and said efforts to maintain this peace are ongoing. He also referred to a call from Maria Corina Machado, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, who claimed she accepted the award because of Trump’s efforts toward peace. Trump made the comment with a humorous tone and added that perhaps she awarded it to him.
