Ansar Allah Condemns U.S. Congress Member for Burning Quran

The political bureau of Yemen’s Ansar Allah strongly condemned the burning of a copy of the Quran by a member of the U.S. Congress, calling it a blatant crime against Islam and a direct provocation of Muslim sentiments.

In its official statement, the group said such acts occur under the atmosphere of support and encouragement from the U.S. government, which, according to Ansar Allah, is fully committed to Zionism and shows no hesitation in following its directives.

The statement criticized Western double standards, noting that while the U.S. and other Western nations criminalize antisemitism, they remain silent on Islamophobia and insults against Islamic sanctities, failing to take preventive measures.

It further said such incidents expose the hollowness of Western slogans about freedom and human rights, demonstrating that these claims lack substance in practice. Ansar Allah also accused Western leaders and the U.S. of supporting the killing of children and women in the Gaza Strip.

The group added that Western countries suppress peaceful popular movements opposing the genocide in Palestine and treat them as criminal acts.

The political bureau of Ansar Allah concluded by warning that the Islamic nation must stand firm in defending its religion and sanctities, otherwise such offensive acts in Western countries will continue.
